About Sourcepilotgrid

Clear figures for consequential moves

We are an independent Johannesburg practice focused on whether application costs can be traced, explained and corrected.

Professional review team meeting around a table

Why the practice began

Relocation files bring together official charges, legal work, health checks, police records, translations and practical moving costs. Those figures often arrive from different people, on different dates and in different currencies. Sourcepilotgrid was formed to give that financial record a disciplined second reading.

Our work sits beside, not in place of, immigration legal advice. We examine the cost evidence so applicants and their advisers can make decisions from a coherent schedule.

Who reviews the file

Thandi Maseko, lead cost reviewer, has twelve years of experience in engagement costing, supplier-document reconciliation and cross-border assignment administration. She leads scopes and signs full audit reports.

Evan Naidoo, review associate, performs evidence mapping, tariff-source checks and arithmetic cross-checks. Every full audit is reviewed by two people before issue.

Working principles

Trace the source

A convincing total starts with readable support. We record what document supports each figure, its date, currency and validity period.

Separate fact from estimate

An estimate is not automatically a weakness. It becomes useful when its basis, exclusions and likely movement are stated clearly.

Protect the applicant

We request only material relevant to cost review. Identity numbers and unrelated financial information should be redacted before transfer.

Say where our role ends

We do not advise on permit eligibility or promise approval. When a finding needs legal interpretation, we say so and direct the client back to a qualified immigration practitioner.
